Privacy notice — early-access waitlist
This page covers the one thing this site does with personal data: the early-access waitlist. There are no cookies, no trackers, and no third-party analytics on this site.
Who is responsible
Modula Stack (the operator of modulastack.com). Contact: hello@modulastack.com.
What we collect, and why
When you join the waitlist we store your email address, the timestamps of your signup and confirmation, and — if you arrived through one of our links — a channel tag (utm_source) saying which of our posts brought you here. We use it for one purpose: emailing you about Modula Stack early access — availability, onboarding, and occasional progress notes; the channel tag only tells us where to keep posting. Never anything else, and never shared with or sold to anyone. Like every web server, ours also keeps standard access logs (IP address, request time) for a short period, for security and operations.
Legal basis and consent
Your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)), given by ticking the consent box and then confirming via the double-opt-in email — you are only added after clicking the confirmation link we send you.
Where it lives
On our own server in the EU (Finland), in self-hosted list software we run ourselves. Confirmation emails are sent via Proton Mail. No third-party marketing platform ever holds your address.
How long, and your rights
- We keep your address until you unsubscribe or the early-access program ends.
- Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time — email hello@modulastack.com.
- You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
